Time blocks are the basic building unit in TimeTune.
To create a time block:
Thatβs it! With time blocks you can build a time management system as simple or as complex as you need, including statistics.
π‘ You can define a default activity in the app’s settings (Settings / Interface / Default activity).
The ‘Schedule’ section allows you to:
π‘ You can click on the times on the left for quick adjustments.
Templates are groups of blocks that can be applied to the schedule all at once, allowing you to plan your days really fast.
To create a template:
After that, the template will open automatically and youβll be able to add blocks to the template.
To apply a template to your schedule:
π‘ You can apply multiple templates to a day.
π‘ You can use the template calendar to remove applied templates (Schedule / Top menu / Template calendar).
π‘ If you planned your day by adding individual time blocks, you can save that day as a template (Schedule / Top menu / Save as template).
The template calendar (Schedule / Top menu / Template calendar) shows which templates will be used on upcoming dates. It’s the perfect place to make changes and exceptions.
Click on any date to apply templates or remove previously applied templates.
π‘ You can also clear the whole template calendar if you need to start anew (Top menu / Clear everything).
The ‘Blocks’ section shows a list of all the individual blocks you created on the schedule, for reference.
This list may be useful if you need to search a block by name, date or activity.
π‘ The list of blocks will grow over time, but you can hide ended blocks to make it more manageable (Top menu / Hide ended).
Activities indicate the purpose of each time block. They also allow the app to build statistics about your time.
The app includes some generic activities, but you can create your own activities or edit the default ones:
π‘ You can choose more than one activity for a block to indicate you are doing multiple things or to build custom statistics.
The ‘Statistics’ section will show you how you are actually spending your time.
Use this section to detect time leaks, find out if you have a good work/life balance and make corrections if necessary.
π‘ You can use the ‘Filter’ option on top to filter the data by activity.
π‘ You can click on any slice in the graphic to see the corresponding data.
